Digi Kits and Drum Kits

Well a busy weekend here! Weeds and Wildflowers have released 9 (yes 9) new kits, all colour themed and packed full as usual!!

Here's one I've made with the 'Celebrating Colour -PerfectlyPink' kit by Gina Marie Huff from Weeds & Wildflowers Design, available at ScrapArtist.com.



Also this weekend DD1's school percussion band played at the local agricultural college open day. It poured with rain, but they did really well and we had a great (but soggy) day out.

A day of ancient sites

Yesterday we had a day out in Shropshire, putting our English Heritage cards to good use. We visited the ruins of 2 abbeys and 2 priories.

Angel of the North

A few years ago, we were on holiday in Northumberland when we drove past 'the Angel of the North' by Antony Gormley. We just had to stop. At 20m (66ft) high and having a wingspan of 54m (178ft) it is breathtaking. The arrow points to my eldest daughter running up the hill towards it.
