Catching Up Again...

Things have been crazy mad here lately. Both girls have had concerts, there's been Worm Charming, Zoe has had 3 music exams (Grade 3 Theory, Grade 3 Clarinet and Grade 2 Singing), plus Zoe's off to Paris tomorrow on a concert tour with the school choir so I've been helping her with all her stuff for that. They're going to be singing at Disney and The Eiffel Tower and are back friday.
Anyhoo, just cos I haven't blogged, doesn't mean I haven't scrapped...

Charity Collab - All Creatures Great And Small - In Aid OF National Wildlife Federation

All Creatures Great and Small is a charity collaboration to benefit the National Wildlife Federation and is exclusively available for sale at Funky Playground Designs through July 18th.

According to the National Wildlife Federation:

Millions of gallons of oil have oozed into the water since the April 20th rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Some estimates calculate the oil flow to be over 70,000 barrels of oil a day—making the BP spill already eight times larger than Exxon Valdez!

And we still don't know when it will stop.

The wildlife casualties are adding up. Oil has officially hit land, and numerous sea turtles, dolphins and migratory birds have all been reported dead or dying on gulf beaches. Sadly, this is just the beginning of the uphill battle wildlife in the region now face.

Please donate today to help protect the over 400 species of treasured wildlife that stand to lose so much from this devastating tragedy. Your support will go right to work protecting wildlife and wild places impacted by the BP oil spill disaster.

The profits from the sale of this collaboration will go directly to the National Wildlife Federation and the receipt will be posted on the Funky Playground blog after the donation has been made.

New Grab Bag At The Playground!

Those clever designers at FPD have put together a Collab-Grab Bag!

Each of Good Morning Sunshine's 13 mini-kits has it's own refreshing, sunshine theme. You can use them individually or you can mix them up for a variety of sensational layouts to suit your needs because they were all designed using the same color palette (shown in the preview)!

Good Morning Sunshine will only be available as a $3.00 Grab Bag from June 7 through June 20!

On June 21, they will be revealing the 13 mini-kits inside and increasing the price to $6.00 - which is still a tremendous bargain considering that averages out to just 50 cents a for each mini kit!
